The Trust is running six craft centers at Alamgari Bazar, Beerwa, Rathsuna, Trehgam, Kralpora and Chowkibal where skilful training is imparted to orphan and poor girls and this step is yielding good results. 100 girls are presently under training. Our aim is to make orphan girls self-reliant in every respect. During the last 32 years hundreds of young orphan girls have been trained through these centers. Lacks of rupees have been spent on these centers. While the centre at Alamgari Bazar Srinagar is run by the SKIMS Branch of the Trust, all other centers are run by our units/branches respectively. The registered trainees of these craft centers are provided pherans, frock suits, abaya cloth, head scarf, leather shoes, etc. These centers are, more or less, serving as behboodi markaz and Trust is working for upliftment of these girls till they get rehabilitated.

Educational Aid to Orphans

2888 poor and deserving widows at the central and the branch levels have been provided clothes, dietary items, free ration and medicines. We fulfill their almost all daily requirements to the maximum possible extent including the educational expenses of their orphan children. A special mention needs to be made of the dietary items being provided to destitute widows and their families on monthly basis. 230 families have been registered at the centre and at the units level for this scheme. This assistance keeps the hearths of these destitute families warm and their candles lit.

271 mass marriages of orphan girls at the central and at the units levels have been solemnized by the Trust and wedding material was distributed among these brides on the occasion of their marriage ceremony.
This gives us a great satisfaction that through this scheme we have been able to save the grownup orphan girls from exploitation

Medical relief to indigent families/deserving ailing persons

The Trust has arranged treatment of sick persons under "Save my Life" program. 369 cases were identified and medicines and medicament were provided to such patients on monthly basis round the year. Those deserving patients who require advanced treatment like implantation of pacemaker, heart valve replacement and surgeries of sophisticated nature have been provided with financial assistance upto a maximum of rupees five thousand for each case.

Distribution of sewing machines

All those trainees of our craft centers who successfully complete Basic Course in Cutting & Tailoring craft shall be given sewing machines to enable them to earn their livelihood at their homes. During the year 2002-03 so many young orphan girls were given sewing machines for the establishment of their units. We are hopeful that our gracious donors, business and affluent class shall extend their full support and co-operation to enable us to achieve our goals and noble plans in totality. We want to assure our donors and well-wishers that to achieve our declared targets during the years to come they shall find us, God willing, more dedicated, more honest and more transparent because we are firm believers of the saying that "Hands that serve are holier than the lips that pray".

2500 orphans (boys and girls) have been registered by the Trust both at the centre and at our unit level. Hundreds of thousands of rupees have been spent mainly on educational aid to these orphans. Uniforms, books, school shoes, socks, note-books, pens etc. were provided to such orphans by the centre and our branches.

Training Centers

Our different vocational training centers are:
i. Gulshan craft center Alamgari Bazar Srinagar. This craft center has done Commendable Job and has trained so many girls who are now settled on this craft.

ii. Gulshan craft center Banat Complex where tailoring is taught to orphan Girls.

iii. Vocational Training center Bijbehara, run by our Bijbehara unit where Tailoring is being taught and other skills also are going to be imparted in the center in near future.

iv. Vocational Training center Sopore where orphan girls are taught different Skills, like tailoring and embroidery etc.

v. Craft center at Janglat Mandi Anantnag where girls learn the skills like Cutting tailoring and other embroidery skills.

vi. Vocational Training center at Hardushechan Anantnag.

vii. Vocational Training center Gund Fateh Pora Anantnag.

viii. Vocational Training center Zaldoora Anantnag.

ix. Our Bandipora unit is also running a craft center in which orphan girls are getting training in cutting and tailoring. Several batches have so far got trained in this craft from the center.

x. Our craft centers at Chowkibal Kupwara, Dever Lolab, Kralpora Kupwara and Beerwah also have trained many orphan girls. These centers are now closed due to financial constraints.
